There are numerous investor programs in Canada providing a variety of options to qualified applicants.  The Government of Canada has the largest program.  Qualified applicants must:

• Have a net worth of at least CAD 1.600,000.
• Make an investment of CAD 800,000.
• Have business experience.
• Be able to achieve 35 points on the Canadian immigration selection grid. 

Provincial programs vary greatly. Often a lower net worth and investment are required.  Usually the provincial programs provide for much faster admission to Canada.
