Several provinces in Canada have negotiated individual immigration agreements with the Federal government of Canada.  The programs have various pros and cons, and are frequently updated.  Several provinces have Skilled Worker programs, some with a list of acceptable occupations and others with guidelines only.  Some of the provincial programs include business programs for self employed persons, entrepreneurs and investors.  There are also possiblities for international students to remain in Canada as permanent residents in some instances.

The advantage to the provincial programs is that they usually provide for much faster admission to Canada than the Federal programs.  The drawback is that the programs are small and frequently take only a few hundred applicants each year in each province.

Once you send us your details, we will be able to give you an opinion as to whether you will qualify for any of the provincial programs.
